Illustrations done to the story "How Birds Got Bright Feathers".
"How Birds Got Bright Feathers” is a South American folktale that is a fun and creative way to explain the colorful birds from that region. I used the story to create an illustrative children's book. It features colorful visuals of a snake, the flowers that the snake eats in the forest, and the bright, playful birds that are the main feature of the story. It was illustrated using pen and paper, color was added using photoshop and then it was printed and hand bound.
